10 Minute Air Fryer Honey Garlic Salmon
I recently purchased an air fryer and it’s safe to say that it’s my favorite purchase of 2020. My favorite thing to make thus far is salmon. Takes me all of 10 minutes; and it’s magnificent. *chefs kiss*
Here’s my recipe for taste bud pleasing, mouth watering honey garlic salmon.
Ingredients
2 lbs Fresh Atlantic Salmon
Pink Himalayan Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Salt-Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning
1/4 cup of Soy Sauce
2 tbsps Honey
1 tsp Minced Garlic
Scallions
Optional: Corn Starch
Cut salmon into 1 1/2 inch portions. Season salmon to taste with salt and pepper. Just a pinch of each will do. Then go in with the salt-free garlic and herb seasoning and a dash of garlic powder.
Mix soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic in a small bowl and pour over salmon cuts, just enough to coat it. Let it marinate for as long as you prefer ( I did 10 minutes). *Leave a third of the mixture to make sauce.
Set your air fryer to 350 degrees and cook salmon for 10 minutes.
Mix in a small saucepan the remaining soy sauce, honey and minced garlic mixture. Heat until it begins to boil. Mix in dissolved cornstarch and stir until sauce thickens. *Optional if you want a thicker sauce. For a little extra pizzaz you can add a bit of orange zest.
Garnish salmon with scallions and extra sauce, then enjoy!
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do. This is my new quick and easy way to cook salmon. If you’re in the market to get an air fryer, check out the Power AirFryer XL. I absolutely love it! I don’t know why I waited so long to jump on the air fryer train.
